Performs the preventive and reactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities of the Maintenance Technician include the execution of PM schedules, repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates and maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory. This position will require the individual to work either 2nd shift, 3rd shift, weekends, or a mix of all three. The schedule and total number of hours worked is negotiable.   Primary Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: - Troubleshoot and perform repairs on machines and their controls (extruders, corrugators, extrusion die, DC /AC motor & drives, downstream equipment, chillers & etc.…). - Maintain and build job skills through company training programs. - Contact, specify, and order replacement parts & control components from supplier as needed. - Effectively contribute to CMMS performance through timely PM & Repair Work Order completion while ensuring compliance. - 1st responder to troubleshooting machine problems, contact Electrical Engineering if additional support is needed. - Support Daily Management directives and initiatives. - Help develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to improve production efficiencies and Safety. - Work with Production Staff to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment. Job Skills: This position should possess the following skills/knowledge: - Proficient using Electrical Test equipment: Voltmeter, Ammeter, ohm meter, Megger & etc.… - Understanding basic machine function and Sequence of Operations of production machinery. - Proficient in reading Electrical, pneumatics and mechanical drawings. - Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and NFPA 79 codes. - Lock Out Tag Out Safety procedures. - Arc Flash and PPE Requirements - Advanced industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic skills including troubleshooting - Strong leadership ability with time management and task prioritization skills o Proficient in electrical formulas and mechanical math. - Knowledge of 3 Phase Industrial wiring and power distribution - AC & DC Drive / Motor PMs, wiring, programming & troubleshooting. - Troubleshoot PLC I/O and networking. - Motion Training with Servo Drives and Motors. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate to other plant personnel as well as company resources and vendors - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word o Experience in Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving Educational Requirements: - High School / Vocational School Diploma or Equivalent - Required - Technician level - Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic - Preferred - Basic PLC and Drive training - Preferred Preferred Experience: - +5 years Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems and Controls - Plastic process knowledge. An ADS Professional Over the Road Fleet Driver is required to safely operate company equipment and provide the highest level of service in terms of pickup and delivery of any ADS Freight.  A Driver is responsible for inspecting, tracking and maintaining the maintenance of the unit that is assigned to him/her as well as any equipment being hauled.  ADS Drivers must maintain legal and accurate Daily Driver Logs in regards to hours of service, ADS-related paperwork and driving best practices.  Drivers receive work assignments based on their hours of availability.  This position requires the flexibility to work any day of the week when driving hours are available. Drivers should expect to perform multiple consecutive long haul shipments and be “on the road” for the equivalent of 25 days per month.   Drivers report directly to the centralized Freight Manager (Hilliard, OH) but will be domiciled at one of the ADS manufacturing facilities. Drivers will be trained in the Peoplenet onboard telematics system, and will be expected to use it to manage logs, safety events and standard communications with their Freight Manager.     The responsibilities of an ADS Professional Fleet Driver include, but are not limited to:     - Safe operation of all company equipment - Report BOL discrepancies - Maintain proper communication with Freight Manager, Plant personnel and customers. - Manage safe unloading at delivery destination and place product in consignee’s desired location - Maintain an accurate and legal driving log and communicate availability to Fleet Manager - Timely reporting of ALL accidents, incidents or violations - Ensure accuracy of delivered quantities and product types - Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork (trip envelope, RMA’s) - Maintain high levels of personal appearance in the wearing of the company uniform - Submit all company-related documents on a daily basis whenever possible. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity - Route management- takes responsibility for travelling the safest, most direct route. Avoid unnecessary excess miles. - Adhere to company and departmental policies - Ensure loads are properly secured - Perform pre/post trip inspections of all equipment - Report equipment and payload problems/hazards - Perform in-route inspection of all equipment - Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES     Job Skills: A Professional Fleet Driver must possess the following skills/knowledge:       - Must be able to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations - Must possess skills to handle receipts, read road maps, road signs, maintain driver logs, etc. - Firm working knowledge of DOT regulations and freight requirements - Complete knowledge of safe loading/unloading procedures for all ADS equipment and products - Knowledge of ADS finished goods, tooling and raw materials. - Possess SAFE defensive driving skills - Courteous/friendly/positive representation of ADS - Strong communication and interpersonal skills            Job Specifications:   A Professional Fleet Driver must meet the following eligibility requirements at all times during his/her term of employment:           - Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) that is applicable for the type of commercial equipment being operated - Must meet/or exceed physical standards of the  Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administrations (FMCSA)  and ADS - Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record from all states where prior licenses were held - Must be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement for interstate operation) - Must satisfactorily pass all required drug tests - Must pass ADS road test and background checks - Must be willing to be over the road for approximately three weeks each month. Driver should expect approximately five days home-time a month, not on consecutive days. - Must be willing to drive a Peoplenet equipped tractor. This includes managing E-logs, safety events and communications with Fleet Manager through the telematics system.           Physical Requirements:   All potential new hire candidates and current drivers within ADS are required to successfully pass the DOT driver medical qualifications and to also meet and/or exceed ADS physical job requirements.  All medical examinations must be performed by an ADS certified physician that is qualified to perform such physical examinations.       - Must be able to work either days or nights - Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregated period of up to 11 hours - Must be able to perform repetitive motion to include arms, legs and feet while driving - Must be able to perform frequent squatting to handle, position and secure freight - Must be able to perform frequent crouching to handle, position and secure freight - Must be able to climb at least up to 13 fleet - Must be able to enter and exit the vehicle’s cab as many as 45 times per day or more.  Cab floor levels are generally from 36 to 66 inches above ground level, with entry and exit achieved with the assistance of various configurations of steps and handholds; also requires frequent bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching and balancing - Must be able to perform the frequentpushing or rolling of freight weighing up to and/or creating a resistance force of more than 100 lbs, as well as the occasional pushing or rolling of freight weighing up to and/or creating a resistance force of more than 200 lbs with or without mechanical aid - Must be able to perform the frequentpulling or rolling of freight weighing up to and/or creating a resistance force of more than 100 lbs, as well as the occasional pulling or rolling of freight weighing up to and/or creating a resistance force of more than 200 lbs with or without mechanical aid - Must be able to perform the frequentcarrying of freight weighing up to 75 lbs of varying shapes and sizes a distance of  20 feet but usually no more that 50 feet - Must be able to frequently reach for freight at waist level and frequently reach for freight above shoulder height or below waist level - Must be able to occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate both the tractor (power unit) and trailer - Must be able to frequently load and unload full or partial trailer loads of finished goods, raw materials and/or tooling.  This could involve either the mechanical release or assisted pushing of product and materials that could weigh in excess of 800 lbs. This type of activity could precede or follow as much as 11 hours of driving - Must be able to install and remove tire chains when required by law and/or due to inclement weather - Must be able to spend at least 30% of the day standing and 30% of the day walking on surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, wood, metal, loose or packed dirt and sometimes slippery, wet and uneven surfaces - Must be able to hook/unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, manually lower and raise landing gear, operate fifth-wheel release lever, lock and release load securement straps, open and close cargo doors, climb into and out of vehicles, fuel vehicles and check engine and coolant levels - Must be able to sleep multiple consecutive nights in a fully equipped sleeper tractor without negatively impacting their ability to perform the activities listed above.       Educational Requirements:       - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Safe/Defensive Driving Certification preferred       Preferred Experience:       - 1-2 years OTR experience w/ reputable carrier - At least 100,000 verifiable miles through former transportation-related employment
